ghost internet connection!?!?

Recommended Posts

i have a quick question.. about every 10-20 minutes, windows tries to make a new 'internet connection' by itself. i believe it from an old virus that i already removed but is still for some reason disconnecting my current connecting to my broadband service and trying to make its own.. it creates a new one called 'internet connection' and in its properties, i noticed this information:

service name: 000

security options - requires secure password

if i delete the connection, it just creates another.. i think the virus i took out leached onto my bittorrent program, called 'azearus' and i think that may be whats causing the problem. i know i can go into the registry and modify this myself but im no pro and dont know where i should go... can someone pls help me??? Thanks :)
