nickster
Real Player 10.5, Quicktime 7.1.5, Windows Media Player - no sound with all 3, but video is fine on all 3 Sound comes thru with the Realtek Sound Effect Manager ( didn't think there would be sound with this, since the auto Windows updates a month ago caused incorrect placement of a realtek dll, and I haven't taken corrective measures yet "Sounds and Audio Devices" within the Control Panel: Volume tab - "No audio device" so all opts are unavailable, and all options unavailable in the Audio tab section. What do I need to do. I haven't researched further except for using the three players and going into control panel and Realtek Manager. How do I rectify this. Thank you. andsome
Have you tried removing the updates from that time to see if that rectifies things?
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Either install the latest Realtek drivers, and/or apply hotfix 935448.
