blambson Posted May 16, 2007 Report Share Posted May 16, 2007 We have a volitle user enviroment and when a new user logs on MS office always asks for a CD so it can setup the users Name and initials. Office asks for the CD because it needs some files from the CD, and it usually specifies the first file it needs. You could copy that file, and the ones it subsequently asks for, somewhere on the hard drive. But I don't know if it will automatically go to the HD location once you have specified it for one new user.There may be other forum users logging in at UK time, and who may have more multi-user experience than me.
