Hi there,

I wish to use my secondary hard disk as the primary disk drive.

The problem is that the software loaded on it has a different video card as default, and I wish to change the video card driver on it. How can I do so?

Both have windows xp loaded onto them though they are different versions. I have added the driver files from the WinNT folder of one drive to the system32 folder of the other. However, how can I change the video card in the startup process?

If I understand what you're asking:

You have a current bootable hard drive (C:) and you want to replace it with another bootable hard drive (D:). The problem is that the drivers on D: are not the drivers for your current video card.

There might be a faster way to do it, but this is how I'd go about it;

I would put D: into the computer and boot up into Safe Mode. Go to the Device Manager and locate your Display Adapter. Double-click and go to the Driver tab. Click uninstall driver. After it's finished, reboot the computer into Windows normally. When Windows loads, open up your web browser (you'll probably notice that the video is very sluggish) and go to your video card manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for your particular version of Windows. Install the drivers, reboot, and you should be good to go!
