Richard Schennberg
Between home & office we have 5 inkjet printers and 2 laser printers (1 seldom used). We have a large stock of GP Inkjet Paper, and only 1 reim of multi-purpose paper. Is it O.K. to use inkjet paper in a laser printer, or should we get laser printer paper or more multi-purpose paper?Thank you,RichardSchennberg.com
-pops-
Ordinary copy paper (general purpose) is perfectly for every day use in a laser printer. Most papers that don't have a special inkjet surface will be suitable for laser use. Avoid ALL paper that has a coated surface unless it is designed for laser printers e.g inkjet photopaper. You may find that papers with a heavily textured surface like some high quality letter papers aren't suitable as the toner doesn't get fixed properly and may tend to rub off.Other things to avoid, unless designed for it, are self adhesive labels.
