I'm having difficulty installing a program.

Recommended Posts

I'm being told that C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Windows applications. My options are to Close or Ignore. I really want this to install, I'm thinking it's probably because I've got SP2 installed, and I'm hoping that someone out there knows of a back door, or something. Please reply, for nostalgia's sake... :flowers:

CMI Launcher 2.0

CMI Launcher is an improved version of the launcher program that LucasArts shipped with The Curse of Monkey Island.

Latest Changes:

Can - make CMI run from hard drive and copy the required files

Can - run CMI in windowed mode

Can - apply the CMI debug patch

Can - change the level of directsound acceleration (to fix the cutscene bug that can occur on W2k/WXP)

The menu image now randomly changes to any one of 6 alternate images when the launcher loads

Switched to using the CMI cursor

Switched to using the CMI font

Enabled the XP look for controls

Made the launcher look much, much better
