eludlow Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 My laptop will happily hibernate / standby once, but the second time I close the lid (thereby pushing the little "bobble" thing that turns the monitor off!) the screen turns off fine but when back on (open the lid!) windows has frozen on "preparing to standby" - not "frozen" as the mouse can still move fine, but the "moving bar" under the preparing to standby message doesn't move.Drivers all updated, windows updated, virus free etc etc, but this problem is driving me mad!Can anyone help?Thanks,Ed Ludlow Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
