Muffy Posted June 8, 2007 Report Share Posted June 8, 2007 When loading Windows I'm getting a blank screen with an active cursor. Windows seems to boot and work fine too, as I found out by clicking aimlessly around the screen and seeing the hourglass cursor appear briefly. How can I fix this? When Windows is fully loaded (the blinking of the HD LED stopped), you just see a white screen with nothing on it? Do you have a taks bar? Did that start suddenly? Do you have anti-malware (anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall) installed?Can you boot into Safe Mode (http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...e.mspx?mfr=true) ?
