Hummdis Posted June 15, 2007 Report Share Posted June 15, 2007 I have a Logitech Webcam, Umax Scanner, Lexmark Printer, and other USB devices. Every time I connect them, it labels them "Logitech Webcam #3" then "Logitech Webcam #4" and so on. How do I remove the previous ones so that it doesn't do this? Or is it even possible? andsome Posted June 15, 2007 Report Share Posted June 15, 2007 When you use these items is there a small icon showing at bottom right? If you click this you will get a box which asks if you want to safely remove hardware. This is what happens with my printer and also my plug in hard drive.
