rshol Posted June 21, 2007 Report Share Posted June 21, 2007 I figured out how to get the File menu in IE 7 turned on and get it to the top of the window where it should be. But now the links tool bar wants to be just under the file menu and I can't move it where it belongs, between the location bar and the tab bar. Here's the way I'd like to line up my tool bars:1) File Menu (done)2) Location Bar. But, I want to put home, print, feed, stop and reload buttons next to the backward and forward buttons, to the left of the input box on the location bar.3) Links tool bar.4) Tab toolbar minus the command bar. rshol Posted June 22, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2007 In the old school main menu there is no tools=>toolbar menu option. There is a view=>toolbars menu option, but you only get to turn toolbars on or off there. In the new style command bar (curses be on it), there is a Tools=>Toolbars=>Options dialog, as far as I can tell this only lets you customize the icons on the command bar, but it won't make the command bar go away or let you modify the location bar. The command bar is the toolbar to the right of the tabs and is the only thing I find that can be configured. What I am calling the Location Bar is the bar with the back and forward buttons, the url text box and the search box in it. I am unable to find a way to configure the Location Bar in any way shape or form.
