OK, I installed Windows XP and Vista on the same machine. XP is on one hard drive, Vista is on the other. When I go into XP, and try to delete the folders for Vista, I get the error

"cannot delete, Access Denied."

I tried safe mode as well as normal mode. Still wont delete.

I am trying to delete the folders and all files under

Program files

Windows

Users

And I cannot get rid of any of them :(

I even tried in DOS, and get the same error :(

Any Ideas how to delete it, and free up 30+ gb?

Which install came first? I can tell you this much, Windows Vista isnt very friendly when it comes to multiple OS' on the same hard-drive. Even dual boots.

Vista from what I understand doesnt even contain a Boot.ini file that allows you to change, or modify boot processes. I dont see why you would have installed it in such manner.

Dynamic drives have been very nice to me, you can try that.
