ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
IO - normally spelled I/O - are input/output operations; reads and writes.I usually watch the little HD LED flickering; that's enough for me. But I am sure there are more serious I/O monitors around; perhaps someone here knows any? Google may also provide some results.

andsome
I don't understand what you mean by seeing IO.then what was the point of your reply...?Are you this antagonistic all the time, or only on this forum. I don't owe you an explanation. As I have pointed out on previous occasions when you have been rude, your avatar certainly suits you. jason.b.c
then what was the point of your reply...?Are you this antagonistic all the time, or only on this forum. nope , not at all..I don't owe you an explanation. did i ask you for one...?As I have pointed out on previous occasions when you have been rude, your avatar certainly suits you.uh.? , OK.! Well if you would open your eyes or put on your glasses you would notice that my <ehem> "Avatar" is "frustrated" with his PC , and in no way reflects any other type of action.. (eg.. "being rude" )the thing is , when YOU come along here and state==> "I don't understand what you mean by seeing IO. " dosen't exactly help this new member AT all.., where as you should have asked: "could you please explain what you mean by IO..? "

" dosen't exactly help this new member AT all.., where as you should have asked: "could you please explain what you mean by IO..? "Well, to be honest, the reason for saying that is: He wants to know what the problem is, in order to help solve it.So - he states that he dont understand the question, but is willing to help, if the auther can provide a better question, or just clearify it.ANDTo help answer the original question:http://www.google.com/search?q=monitor+hard+drive+activity
andsome
bang dba I really hope that Jason's rudeness has not upset you in any way. I feel sure that you did not read anything bad into my statement ,that I did not understand the question. I hope that my subsequent answer after Pat's explanation helped to point you in the direction of an answer. Most forum members are extremely helpful, and not at all antagonistic. Please don't be put off coming here again and joining in, and asking as many questions as you want. :D :D :D
