minroy Posted June 29, 2007 Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 In attempting to go online, I get a gray box message "subject (by name) could not be found.Please check the name and try again" This often continues until I right click Internet icon on activity (bottom) bar. This usually get me a pop up list displaying 'Diable', 'Statue', 'Repair' and 2 other items. By clicking Repair or Status and then Repair, I get another box that says Windows is taking action to Renew the IP Address. This being done, I can usually but not always, get on. Being connected doesn't always mean that I'll stay connected. It's not uncommon to have to reconnect several times in one session.
