dotnetme Posted July 6, 2007 Report Share Posted July 6, 2007 My Friend computer's Hard Drive died, if I replace the Drive with a new drive Format it and all can I use the XP Restore disks that came with her computer to reload the pc as the day she bought it. I swear I joined before Because this site is in my favorites but couldn't remeber a login, tried my defualts no luck...Yeah it's a bootable CD... did it once before.... real simple... but just wasn't sure if it would work with a bigger newer drive... she had a 40 GB and thinking of getting a bigger faster on then she had...Thanks dotnetme Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
