You can get a collection of codecs from click here which will provide almost every codec available.

Personally, I would never play a freebie disc from a newspaper in any machine of mine after a very bad experience some years ago when a CD from a Sunday paper decide to destroy itself in the player - it was at a time when CD players were quite expensive.

Thank you .. a genius .. it Worked .. although it is all very bafflerling, don`t know what anything means..

Played Fantom of the Opera sound was low and very echoie... Changed the volume setting to surround 7 .. but no idea why?? bit better .. other DVDs sound was OK..

When my TV died bought 22" Monitor screen .. which I now love .. but still too scared to fit the WinTV Stick into it to make TV and Monitor work as one....

Couple of queries .. will I still get Computer noises, Reminders etc .. Plus there is no remote control and wireless mouse will have to be pushed around on the table .. Is it really a good idea .. should I get $40 refund and put toward a Tele????

thank you so very much .......xs

Oh and anyother thing .. can NOT make Skype work any more .. is it another Sound Card problem ... worked before the big crash......thankyou ..x

I would never combine my TV and computer monitor.

OK, one of my computers has a TV card to allow the recording of programmes but, other than that, I keep them totally separate.
