TMP files problem

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody, i want to ask something. Before some weeks, while i was on my computer a problem occured. I don't know why but since then my computer is creating TMP files untill my disk free space is in 0...This happens many times without a problem indication. After this my computer is using the 50-100% CPU . I can't see any opened applications or tasks. I want to find a solution for my problem , so i asked this here.

Welcome to the Windows Forum.

Most likely your computer is infected with some malware. Do you have anti-virus and anti-spyware installed? Are they up-to-date? Please run a full scan of your system. If nothing is found, someone will instruction how to obtain a Hijack-this log, and where to post it for analysis.

And where are these .tmp files created?

They are created into the Windows\system32. But it doesn't start to create files everytime. When i am using my computer , without to see a message or an Error or something it starts creating the files. Tell me something. If i make an invisible program that deletes every .tmp files in the computer every 5 minutes is a good idea?

I want to use the cmd command : DEL /F /S /Q *.tmp

Can somebody tell me how to repair it please? And about the program i said.

When it starts creating all the temp files, go to task manager and see whats using your CPU then. End the process - see if it ends the creation of all the files. Then you have your solution, google the task name and there will undoubtly be plenty of solutions.

I did the scan and it found many virouses, thank you  . But this is still creating files. :0

Did you successfully remove all the viruses?

Try these two. They pretty good.

Lavasoft AdAwareSE

SpyBot

I am running BitDefender Internet Security 10 but, let us say, every month or two I run full system scans with both of them.

And they're FREE!!!

It's definitely worth to scan for and remove other malware.
