eyeonwindows Posted July 10, 2007 Report Share Posted July 10, 2007 I 've upgraded my xp to vista and formatted the partition on which xp was found .. the problem is that on booting os selecting screen appear to choose xp or vistaalthough xp not exist any more .. how can I delete this screen? ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted July 11, 2007 Report Share Posted July 11, 2007 I haven't used Vista yet (but it's about time that I do!), so I'm not sure what has changed since XP.But what I found via Google seems that there is no more boot.ini file in Vista (which was where multiboot information were kept in previous Windows versions).See this article on how to edit boot configuration data on Vista.
