Guest Nellie2
You must have heard of mail washer??http://www.mailwasher.net/It doesn't exactly work with outlook express......I use it to preview my emails before I download them to outlook express. You can bounce mails if you want to but to be honest spammers have got wise to this and if a mail isn't bounced back instantly.....but is bounced back some time later then they will assume the addy is live and will keep sending spam. A bit like clicking on the unsubscribe link. What I do is preview the mail while it is on the server and just delete anything I don't want before I download it.I get very little spam these days

Guest moon
Let us know if you find anything better, madboy, 'cause MailWasher is the best I can suggest too. I get around fifty spams a day which MailWasher bounces. Nell's right about the delay factor but my philosophy is that the spammers will eventually wake up to the fact that, even thouigh they've got a 'live' one, their spam ain't getting past my server. The salesman knows I'm in but there's no point keeping knocking if I ain't opening the door. :D
popeye
Hi moon & nellie.I agree with you both as regards Mailwasher. It does what it says on the label.
Electric Hermit
I have been using SpamPal for some time now, with good results. It is easy to configure and, of course, it is free. http://www.spampal.org/I also use BounceSpamMail. Although, admittedly, only for the personal satisfaction I get out of it. I don't know that bouncing is at all effective. http://www.webattack.com/get/bounce.shtml
