Shinro
it all started when my AV (kaspersky) has detected a virus that is on the WINDOWS directory, and quickly deleted. i think it has related to the Network Manager and the DNS. since then it keeps my pc a suddenly restart or if i disabled the restart, BSOD will happen. then i look at the system log and found this two ,The Network Manager Service service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. The DNS Connection service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. windows xp service pack 2updated
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum. Can you try to run a system restore to the point before the files were deleted? Also make sure that you get the definitions for your anti-virus software updated, so that the false positive is removed. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Since we don't know what was actually deleted, it may just be standard Windows installed files. Try open the command prompt, then typesfc /scannowYou will need your Windows install disk for this. The System File Checker will check for missing or corrupted system files, and replace them if found.
