echofive Posted July 26, 2007 Report Share Posted July 26, 2007 Hello I have recently moved all of the internal componets of one server into a new Rackmount case with new power supply. The only thing I have changed is one of the NICs. The server's role is a firewall gateway with Kerio Winroute Firewall, it runs Windows 2000 Server on an intel L440GX? board, 2 pent II 500's and 2 gigs of RAM with a Mylex RAID controller. The machine now reboots itself every other day kicking our 35 employees off the internet. The only thing I can find is a save dump in the event log. it reads the following: The Computer has rebooted from a bugcheck... The bugcheck was: 0x0000004e (0x0000008f, 0x0000b0ce, 0x00051e4e, 0x00000000)I have a few of these Save Dumps. I would upload my memory.dmp file but its like 1.7 Gig! Scarecrow Man Posted July 26, 2007 Report Share Posted July 26, 2007 Your memory dump is what was loaded into memory at the time the crash happened. Since you have 2GB of ram, this is quite normal. Unless it was a program that caused the crash, the memory dump is not required. If it was (as it seems in this case) hardware related, the memory dump provides no useful information.I found this, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291806 pertaining to 0x0000004EIt suggest a corrupted I/O driver (network).
