I am the only user on mine so this does not apply. However, my daughters computer has four accounts. If one wants to shut down, a warning automatically comes onto the screen saying that other users are logged on. Does this not occur on your computer? She uses XP Home SP2.

Hi, I want to prevent a user from shutting down the PC, but only when other users are logged on. If there aren't any other users logged on, he can shut down as normal. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thats not normally imposible...

This is because microsoft knows for a fact that windows creates so many errors, that they left it open for everyone to reboot the computer...

And second of all, there is both a power plug/battery, a power button and a reset button on a computer, which all is available for rebooting the computer...
