nanok
Hey guys, I have a large list of words in a txt file that I would like to arrange so that there is a new line for every word. Right now the words have a single space between them going across the page. I would like to just hit enter before each word to fix this but I have about 3000 words, and it would be very time consuming. I was wondering if there was any shortcut for selecting them all and having microsoft works do it for me, saving me a crapload of time. Thanks
Guest Nellie2
What version of Word are you using?
peter e
If you are using Word, try this:Select Edit - Replace. In the dialogue box, type a space in Find What and then put the cursor in Replace With. Click the Special button and from the pop-up menu select Paragraph mark. Then click Replace All. Each word should then be on its own line.It works with MS Word, but I don't know if you can replace spaces with special characters if you are using the Works word processor.Pete
