SimpleRules
I have a dual monitor set-up, the way it works is the left monitor #1 is what I use for DVDs and such and it doubles as TV, the right monitor #2 is for everyday stuff and is my main monitor ... one thing thats bugging me is that my desktop despite the logical solution of starting on the left monitor and finishing on the right, starts on the main monitor and essentiallys goes left-to-right-to-left-to-right instead of just from the left of mon1 to the right of mon2 ... its not a huge issue but I'd like one of those cool looking dual-monitor desktops and right now its half and half! djohn
Hello and welcome to the forum SimpleRules. :) Try this, it should work fine and let us know how you get on.1.Right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.2.In the Display Properties dialogue box, click the Settings tab.3.Click the Display list and select your external monitor. If you do not see multiple monitors listed, your computer hardware may not support Dual-view. You can still use MaxiVista to configure a second computer as an additional display, however.4.Select the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor option. Click Apply or OK.
