annie
Am looking at Dell Latitude laptops and hesitating because of past problems with Dell support. At that time, tech support was in India and absolutely useless. I am encouraged by Dueces Wild's post.Has Dell support really improved? nellie2
I have a friend who won't have anything but a Dell machine....I couldn't comment on the support though. I usually fix my own problems and so does he! We will be here to help you out if you do have problems.

I am encouraged by Dueces Wild's post.Has Dell support really improved?Hi Annie,For the first 30 days after purchase you MIGHT get support. When I bought my Dell I spent hours talking to India. After the 30 days you're on yur own. If I buy a new pc it will be from a real store where I can take it back. I joined the Dell forum to get a resolution to my "missing keystrokes" thread here and over 200 people have read the post but no one knows the fix. Tech support is an oxymoron.
