Hey, I'm new here so try and bare with me...

I have Windows XP Home ed. and am useing Windows Media Player 11. I also have a palm pilot (iPaq) with Windows Media Mobile 10 installed. My problem is with the playlists...I know that you can't make playlists with the palm, so I went into WMP 11 on my laptop, loaded all my songs, then created new playlists and dragged the songs I wanted into the playlists...(IE - Driving Music, Calm Music, Miscellanious Favorites). After doing that, I hooked my palm pilot up via USB with Active Sync running. I went onto my laptop and clicked the "Sync" tab on WMP 11 and dragged the 4 playlists I created over to the sync column, making sure that the storage card on my Palm was selected above for the destination.

When I first did this, it synced the songs, but put them all in a folder called "music" which is fine, but it didn't help my playlist problem, I could have dragged them onto the card myself that way. I then deleted the folder, and did it again. This time it made a "music" folder, and then also made a "playlist" folder on the storage card. To my delight, the playlists then showed up on my palm in the "playlists folder" in WMPM 10.

I was real happy with how it worked, but later on I found some mistakes and songs I wanted to add/delete, so I deleted the card, and did the same exact steps as above to make the playlists. This time again, it ONLY makes the "music" folder, it won't make the playlists folder, so I only get the music in bulk on my palm and the "playlists" area on it is empty. I deleted it like the first time, and tried it again, but no luck. I haven't been able to get playlists to sync since. Any ideas??

Thanks in Advance!

Mike
