bharat Posted August 17, 2007 Report Share Posted August 17, 2007 hi all, since last 2 week i am facing problem in my computer. i am unable to figure out that is this hardware or software problem. whenever i start my computer it boots up and then it do memory check. after that when operating system (windows XP ) going to upload it stuck at start. it comes to user login screen and when i enter the user and password, windows stuck there. sometime i got successful to login. but it happen after 10-12 unsuccessful login. i think it could be a windows Xp problem. do i require to reinstall the OS. plz give me what are the possible resons for this problem. Dencandy Posted August 19, 2007 Report Share Posted August 19, 2007 Hello bharat, this reads like a hard disk problem to me. Do you know how to start in Safe Mode, using key F8? Do that, then use System Restore to restore your systems to a date before this problem started. Then do a thorough scan for viruses, malware and bad disk sectors. If the problem returns & your computer or hard disk are still under guarantee, go back to the seller immediately. If you don't know how to do any of these come back to this thread.
