Mike567
Toshiba satellite pro 6100 i get a orange blinking light, from what I can make out its the power board this doesn't allow it to boot or anything.I did actually fix it before by getting pissed off and shaking it, and from what I can make out on the internet its common where their is a loose connection, so I've stripped it down and put it back together two or three times and I can't see anything not contacting. When you press on the power button the laptop will not start and the power LED flashes orange. Most of the time it happens because of a poor connection between the power board and the system board. In some cased you can fix the problem by reseating the power board. If reseating the board doesn’t help then the system board and the power board has to be replaced. The problem is the Battery power board located under the mouse pad. There is a fix for this if you take it in to your ASP. This circuit board controlls the power supplied from the battery, which means when it goes bad the computer goes into protection, ie: blinking orange light. If you change out this PCB the computer should work like a charm. Or your local ASP can fix the board and it should work like a charm as well.Okay i guess its saying i need a new power board so shall I contact the manufacture which i believe i need to do for a new hinge as well  or is their another place which will be cheaper?
