Connect to windows server 2003 over internet

I am running a computer lab at a homeschool academy, and I am running into a problem. We are going over Windows Vista, and Office 2007, and somehow I am suppose to give them 4 hours of homework for the other 4 days of the week, one hour each day. I am not sure how to do this since none of the kids own vista or office 2007! So, I was trying to figure out how to set upa a server at my house, running office 2007, that the kids can log into, and use over the internet, in their browser. Like a gotomypc thing. Can I do this with server 2003? Any ideas for homework?

There is a 60 day trial (2007 works with XP-SP2, 2003 or Vista)

There is also an 'online' version of Office which seems to work quite well. I haven't tried all the features yet though.

As for connecting remotely if you want to allow them to do that, I would recommend TightVNC

The problem is that the online version doesn't allow them to save, or e-mail files. They need to prove that they've done the work.

Have you thought about OpenOffice? It works with everything from Windows 98 to Windows Vista. Not to mention Linux, Solaris and Mac. You can open/edit .doc files with OpenOffice, as well as save new files in the .doc format. It can also open Microsoft Works, WordPerfect, Excel... you name it and OpenOffice most likely supports it.
