Cookies disabled

Hello,

This problem is driving me mad. Every time I try to login to an offline localhost site using IExplorer 6 or Netcaptor I get the usual message:

Login error:Keith's Free for all wiki website uses cookies to log in users. You have cookies disabled. Please enable them and try again.

I can login to other sites on the Internet and I can login using Firefox. I have tried all the usual instructions and disabled the firewall, anti-spam, lowered all setting to 0 and all the usual instruction on enabling cookies.

Just as well I have Firefox or I'd go mad :P But I need to test my browsers in IExplorer too.

Any help appreciated - is there a way to set IExplorer to a zero state? I even tried reinstalling IExplorer.

As above - IE6, Windows XP Prof. and I have tried disabling all security software and even closing it down - Kerio Personal Firewall, Avast Anti-Virus, Adwatch. It must be IE6 because I don't have any problems with Firefox.

I don't use Adwatch myself... but I do know that it blocks cookies, and I do know that even if you turn it off.. it sort of saves its settings.

Is there an option to allow certain cookies in the Adwatch configuration? I think I would check that out first before I started fiddling with IE
