falcon1960
I'm running Windows XP Home edition with 3 user accounts. Upon booting up Windows, if I select any of the user accounts, the account logs in and then immediately logs out again. I've tried starting in Safe mode and the same thing happens. I even re-installed Windows, but the three user accounts somehow survived the re-install and again, I was immediately logged out whenever I tried to log in using one of the accounts. Everything was working fine until I loaded a bunch of windows updates, but now I can't get onto windows to back them out. Any suggestions on how to get past this frustrating problem? Thanks
y2khardtop
I had this happen, think it is a virus or malware maybe. I had to do a clean install. If you have an Ubuntu boot CD, or an WBCDWin boot CD, you should be able to boot and back up your documents to an external drive, then wipe your drive and start over.I hope someone can find a better solution for you, but that's what I had to do. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Try if you can login to the Administrator account in Safe Mode. If you can, run a full malware scan on http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
