felixthadog Posted October 18, 2007 Report Share Posted October 18, 2007 I have both an AGP video card and a PCI video card installed in my PC. I have read that it is possible to force the output display for the POST screens to be output to 1 card and then switch to the other card once Windows starts loading. In the BIOS, I have changed the setting for INIT DISPLAY FIRST to the PCI card, but when I reboot the PC the output is displayed by the PCI card and does not switch to the AGP card (even though the PCI card is not connected to a monitor). Is it possible to force switching between video cards so that the POST screens are displayed using the PCI card and Windows is displayed using the AGP card?
