memory usage?

why memory usage in vista home premium is over 1gb? my virus protection is avast home editon or whatever i dunno... some avast anyway.

Becuase Vista uses much more resources than XP for that "fancy look"...its normal for Vista...However u can kill some processes if u go to start - run - and type services.msc...what services should u disable writes here

After this it should drop to 700-750mb... However i would reccomend to everyone XP...i tried Vista for few months, and i can say it dissapointed me a lot...It's not always newer=better...

IMHO xp is much better OS than vista...generally speaking...

oh, and one joke...what is the similiarity with submarine and windows vista? As soon as you open windows "shit" begins :D

is this in reference of the "recovery" hard drive?i always get a warning that it is full and i can't figure out how to fix this.it is showing zero files when i try to run disc clean-up on it.9.88 of 10 GB full.i will try to do research of this problem at these forums and check back here later.thanks.
