Hi

I've been poking around in my computer, and pluged my main HD through an IDE-->SATA addapter (where previously it was just an IDE disk plugged into the IDE socket).

Windows booted without a hitch except that in "My Computer" I noticed my C: drive appeard as both C: and G:.

I turned off my pc, removed the SATA addaptor, plugged the HD back in an IDE socket and rebooted.

No change except G: is now H:

I've looked at the disk manager (control pannel --> administrative tools --> computer management --> disk manager),

There is no mention of H:, just C:

Does anyone have any ideas how to unmap this drive?

Thanks for your time
