AlanHo
My old faithful Remington cordless razor finally succumbed - after being dropped on a tiled floor yet again.I had a look on the Which site and found a comprehensive review of electric razors - the one that came top by a clear margin was a Panasonic ES7038 despite the fact that it was far from the most expensive. It is a rechargeable unit that can be used wet or dry. It came as a surprise - I didn't know that Panasonic made razors.A thorough Google revealed that Amazon offered the best delivered price at £63.49 and I bought one. ( that was a couple of months ago - there may be cheaper sources now)Anyone in the market for a cordless razor (or thinking of a Christmas treat for husband, boyfriend, lover, partner, toyboy or whoever) should consider this model - over the years I have used Philips, Braun (still have one I rarely use because it does not give a close enough shave) and Remington - but I can honestly say this Panasonic is by far the best. It gives a smooth, close and comfortable shave. Now that razor blades are so expensive - I find an electric razor pays for itself in a few months. It may not shave quite as close as a conventional muti blade razor - but it isn't far off.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I have used a National for many, many years (rechargable, dry & wet, which also means you can wash it). I would any time buy a National again, although it's easy to replace the top parts once they have worn out. It's possible that they are sold under the brand name Panasonic overseas, as they are both the same company (Matsushita).
