nomad00
I performed a System File Check on XP home, after copying my I386 folder to my HDD and changing the appropriate registry key, but none of the files are copying to the dllcache. I went to the system event manager and it is telling me something about the files not being signed, so I copied a few of the files into the cache myself and registered successfully. My problem is the sfc found like 20 or 30 dlls! So I'm wondering how I could get the checker to do the work without checking for whether the files are signed. I found something about disabling it in the group policy editor, but I found that doesn't exist one home... Is there any way I can get these files to copy automatically, some utility I can use to disable this signing policy? I'm not even sure of these missing dlls are the root of the problems I've been having, and I don't want to spend a tedious hour in any case.Any suggestions would be a big help.
