Vista shutting down and starting up

Hello There,

Since upgrading my computer from Windows XP to Windows Vista I have been getting this repetitive error where I could be doing anything on my computer and it will shut off, go black screen, then to a blue screen with fuzzy white writing and then just automatically restarts itself.

This is the error information I recieve when the computer starts up after the cut off:

Problem signature:

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
