MWorl
Looks like this site is for the more advanced............but here goes with my tiny small insignificant problem :( I am attaching and sending Word 07 docx on my hotmail account but the receivers cannot open them. I have then subsequently been saving them as lower Word files 97-03 .doc but these are still not opening. They receive messages such as invalid file path etc. Whats also strange is that the addressees are not receiving all of the files, they get the email minus one or two files. I copied and pasted the text from the Word docs into the body of the email and still not all of the text was received. The only way I could FINALLY send the file that could be read in its entirety was as a text. file.Apologies if this is too basic for all of you techiesHELP please
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum.E-mail is not a perfect communications medium. Its contents and attachments may get corrupted on its way to the destination, and the internal structure may not be recognized by different email clients. The safest way to get attachments across is by compressing them into a ZIP file. Try it!
