Router port forwarding

Are you sure you're forwarding the right ports (and the same port with both UDP and TCP)? uTorrent will randomly generate a port to use the first time its launched (and you can see which port it is in its settings), whereas portforward.com would probably list the standard bittorrent ports.

Also it would help if your IP address is static, so that it wont change and mess up your port forward later down the road.

As an alternative, if your router supports UPnP (universal plug and play) you could just enable that and then uTorrent should automatically talk to your router and set up the ports forwards automatically.
