obs Posted November 24, 2007 Report Share Posted November 24, 2007 Hi everybody.My problem is that when I point to my computer -> c:\ and click properties it shows that I have about 15 gb of used disk space. But when I look in the actual files in the c:\ drive, their size is about 9 gb.i've recently restored my computer to a restoration point, and the problem began from that point.Let me just say that I checked the size of all the hidden filed also, and it doesn't come near to the missing 6 gb.Where are these 6 gb ? obs Posted November 24, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 24, 2007 the windows folder takes 2.29 gb and i've taken it into account.What else could it be ?Could it be that the restoration creates a second instance of some of the programs, and maybe the windows itself, hence the extra disk space ?if that is the case how can I resolve it ?
