It would make my job easier if I could somehow count how often each doucment is accessed. That way when I am rebuilding doucments I can rebuild the most common ones first, and the ones that don't get used - I needn't worry about rebuilding!I am quite comfortable with batch scripts, vbscripts and the like, but am unsure of what attribute of the file to count upon...I have tried viewing additional file details for all the documents, but in XP, the number of times a document is accessed is not recorded.As a crude measure I even thought of somehow monitoring the folder, then piping the name of the accessed doucment out to a text file. Then I'd compile them in Excel or Access and count how many times the document name appears... But how do I count how often it has been accessed?
