Mike567 Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 So I reinstalled windows, installed all my drivers then installed World of Warcraft.But when I now try and run World of Warcraft it freezes the whole computer.I did reinstall the video drivers (ATI Radeon 9550) and it worked, I downloaded some patch and installed it then went to bed, in the morning I booted the pc up normally started WoW and it froze!! I think this is a stupid habit!I remember that with Windows 9x it was indeed necessary to reinstall every few months, but since Windows 2000, I have never, ever had a need to reinstall. And if it would indeed become necessary (e.g. after installing something nasty from Symantec), then why not just restore from backup?
