viveksri15
Hi all.I have a dual boot system (Windows and Ubuntu).I can access my dual layer dvd on ubuntu but not on windows. The DVD is simply not read. And I am planning to remove Ubuntu...and with that I loose my ability to read Dual Layer DVD.Any help please.. I think the problem is something to do with registry.. but don't know. Any help?
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum.Have you tried the Add Hardware Wizard?Does it show in the Device Manager (e.g. with a yellow exclamation mark)?Have you tried to download/install a newer driver from the manufacturer? -pops-
Is a CD or a single layer DVD seen and read by the drive? If so, it could be that the Windows compatible software you are using to read and/or write with the drive does not have the dual layer capability whereas the Linux does have this. I think win explorer could read it itself?
