ferpsi88
Okay, I've searched the internet for every possible reason as to why my new headset won't work, but all the things I could have done wrong hasn't been done. So basically I have Vista Ultimate and have bought a KOSS SB40 headset because I need the microphone for an important task I have. And my laptop (XPS M1710) detects that a microphone is plugged in, but when I try to use it or install it, no sound is recorded or detected. I thought maybe it was something wrong with the headset so I changed it to a new one, but the same still appens...So now I'm out of possibilities as to why it won't work and I'm short on time, so I'm pretty much desperate...Is it some software or driver I must download for it to work on Vista? Can anyone please help me?Regards Kine
