Herbshirt
My poor Mum is trying to print a simple document. (She lives in another state) After downloading, installing Acrobat etc etc, she finally got to the point of printing it and you wouldn't believe it.... it's printing in another language! Apparently it's in English when she reads it on the screen, and of course the IMAGES are printing in English but it somewhere along the line it's being converted to anotehr language. Has anyone heard of this or know how to fix it??I've never heard of it before.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
What kind of document - a PDF file? Can you point us to the download location? And what do you mean by "another language" - like French? Or is it a non-alphabetic script, like Chinese? If so, the original document may have an encoding problem. The easiest would be if we could have a look at the original document.P.S. when you mention "installing Acrobat" - do you mean 'Adobe Reader'? If so, what version? Also, what Windows version?
Herbshirt
Thanks for the quick response. I too was asking all the above questions and more but Mum was getting a bit too stressed out about it all. I was however able to walk her through a 'Logmein' installation (highly recommended for this situation) and I somehow fixed the problem. (I don't know how exactly).Thankyou.
