Rajasekhar Reddy
Hello All,This is Raj from India. I'm basically an Oracle DBA working here . I've a small doubt relating to my Windows 2000 . When ever I mount the Usbdrive , I'm able to see the contents but when I try to open that particular file/folder , I see something like name of the folder as "FOLDER" and size 32kb . I dont know if it's a virus or not but I'm able to see the data but I'm unable to access that data. When I click that nothing happens. I dont know whether it's a virus or not. Kindly help me out . Regards,Rajasekhar Reddy.A
Irene
Hello Raj, welcome to the forum. :) First let me say that I am not one of the forum experts. However, is there an extention to the file called "FOLDER"? May I assume that you have current virus protection, fully up dated?
Rajasekhar Reddy
Hi Irene, Thanks for your reply. But as I mentioned the FOLDER does not have any extension but to my surprise it's opening in Linux machine . I can access all the data. And my anti virus is latest. Or can you suggest me any effective anti virus where I can download it. Help me out. Regards,Raj
