Wadsworth
Working in XP Pro with several programs open as usual (autocad LT, excel, outlook etc) my main toolbar will suddenly fill up with 20-40 different tabs. It seems like all the hidden objects that are running in the background suddley become viewable and obtain a tab and window. Each program that was open at the time will now have several different windows with basically nothing in them. For example, internet explorer will have 14 or so, some of them saying things like "this ---- is supposed to remain hidden as a search feature" or autocad will have windows showing the icon or something random. It's actually pretty funny when it happens. This has happened to me at work over the past few years maybe 5-7 times. I scrubbed my machine about 8 months ago (which I do about every three years) but the problem still pops up every now and again.I don't know that I have explained it well enough, but next time it happens I'll try and get a screenshot.Any ideas? ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
The first thing that comes to mind is, is your system clean of any malware? Do you have an active firewall, antivirus and anti-spyware installed?
