DavidD Posted January 12, 2008 Report Share Posted January 12, 2008 Hello allgreets and a belated 'Happy New Year' ...I have 3 PCs and a Mac networked at home all connected via a wired network Switch/Routerall of the devices have Internet connectivityall said devices have shared data, and one has shared Printers (Print Server / answering machine etcetera, actually irrelevant here!)2 of the windows boxes (1 x WinXP Pro SP2, 1 x W2K all SPs applied) and the Mac can share their respective filesthe other PC (my WorkStation!) although I can see and transfer data to and from the other computers, they cannot 'see' my PCthe Windows boxes are all running ZoneLabs Firewall and all are setup identically, but even if I turn my firewall 'Off' the problem still remains.As far as I can see, all relevant services for sharing etcetera are running, and I am now beginning to tear out the remaining few hairs!'Googleing' / Microsoft & Co. has also not brought any more light into the darkness ...
