krazy Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Hello.I think this is the right place to put my query anyway.I class this post as kind of urgent, as to me it is.When I turn on my computer, when it comes on, I have to press F1 when it prompts me to, something to do with my floppy disks. This works just fine.I turned my PC on today, and the promp was not coming up, so I left it for 20 minutes, and came back, the prompt was there, so I pressed F1, then it asked me how I wanted to start windows, so I chose start winodws normally.So the winodws logo comes on, with ber underneath, that windows is loading, then it loads, but as it goes to the blue screen to click your username, the screen turns black, and wont go any where else.There are no viruses what-so-ever on my computer, as I only checked it out, 2 days ago, and yesterday, I did not use the computer.Can you guys give any advice? Mike567 Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Blue screen means there is a driver issue, pressing F1 means there is a problem in your BIOS.Write down what driver is causing the issue and boot in safe more, uninstall the driver and reboot in normal mode.generally fixes the issue.
