ajrex
The topic can be a little misleading, but I am really having a problem booting up windows on a computer here (weird... this happens every time my little sister has got it for more than a week). I'm just getting a blue screen, can't boot up. I want to format, but I have to get some photos I have in it, from holidays and stuff. I have tried to search everywhere for a Windows XP Live CD, but I don't seem to find anything. I found a program named Bart's PE Builder, but this won't help me I think. Will a Live CD work to get my photos out before I format? Tbh. I have tried everything, formating seems to be the only way out here. Thanks
-pops-
I can't help you directly but, what is the message on the blue screen?I always ensure that I have a full system backup of my "C" drive and also another backup of anything valuable - such as pictures. Mephisto
You can use Linux Live CD to save your pictures. For example Ubuntu (I believe the newest version has a NTFS support integrated).
