Michael___
Whenever I view the contents on any CD on the thumbnail view I get the thumbnail picture, but in the lower left hand corner I also get and IE 7 icon superimposed on the thumbnail. It only happens while viewing a CD. If I browse thumbnails on the hard drive it doesn't occur. Also it doesn't matter what type of file I view. They all have the correct icon or picture in thumbnail view and open with the correct application when I click on them. They just also have this annoying IE 7 icon super imposed on the correct thumbnail. Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know what causes it, or how I can get rid of it? Thanks so much! I am running WIndows XP with SP2 and IE7. Mike
bNm
Native Win XP Cd burning interface should be the one causing this problem. If you disable it (open My Computer, right click on your CD/DVD burner, choose "Properties...", click on the "Recording" tab then uncheck "Enable desktop CD recording for this CD-R device" and click "OK" * ) your icons should just turn back to normal.* of course after this you won't be able to use the XP native CD/DVD burning interface until you re-enable it.
